EXPECTED ROAD CLOSURE IN UMATILLA BUT WE’LL REMAIN OPEN FOR BUSINESS 

Lake County– The Florida Department of Health in Lake County wants to remind residents that the Umatilla Health Center will remain open for business during the expected road closure of County Road 450 in Umatilla from Monday, October 19 through Friday October 23.

“We want our clients not to be concerned. We are still open for business; they will just have to take alternate routes to get here during this time” said Katie Kaiser, Assistant Community Health Nursing Director Florida Department of Health in Lake County.

As per the Lake County website, County Road 450 in Umatilla is expected to be closed at Orange Avenue.  Traffic on State Road 19 will be detoured at Cassady Street South of County Road 450 and at County Road 42 North of County Road 450.  Traffic along County Road 450 will be detoured at Skyline Drive.

The Umatilla Health Center is located at 249 E. Collins Street, Umatilla.  The services provided at this location are:

• Adult and Pediatric Care
• Adult, Pediatric and Travel Immunizations
• Maternity Care
• Disease Control
• Family Planning
• STI/HIV Testing and Treatment
• Women, Infants and Children (WIC)
